Dr Collett is a graduate of the University of Sydney and completed post graduate training at Sydney Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada. He was a Visiting Renal Physician at Concord Hospital from 1979 to 2008. He is a Renal Physician and Head of the Department of General Medicine at Royal North Shore Hospital. He has implemented and developed dialysis services at Sydney Adventist Hospital and is a member of the Renal Unit at Royal North Shore Hospital.
