Profile

Dr Andrew Dunn is a General Paediatrician and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He enjoys working with children of all ages to maximise their future potential. He has considerable experience across many areas of child health, including newborn care, asthma and eczema management, constipation, seizures, sleep difficulties, growth and development, behavioural concerns as well as care of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. He is committed to holistic patient care using a family-centred approach, and values collaborating closely with families, educators and other health professionals to provide the best outcomes for children as they grow and mature.

Dr Dunn completed his medical degree through the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle (WA) before returning to NSW to undertake eight years of specialist paediatric training at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. He has developed a wide range of skills across many tertiary and metropolitan hospitals in Australia and through his previous role as clinical and research fellow at the National Centre for Immunisation Research and Surveillance. He is currently working as a specialist paediatrician at the Children's Hospital at Westmead and Blacktown Hospital and is a conjoint associate lecturer at the School of Medicine at the University of Western Sydney. He has higher studies in Public Health and Global Health through the University of New South Wales, a Diploma in Child Health through The University of Sydney and is a current member of the Developmental Paediatric Society of Australasia.
