About our imaging service

At San Radiology & Nuclear Medicine (SRNM) we continually strive to be at the forefront of imaging innovation and as such boast a comprehensive suite of "new generation" imaging equipment. This leading-edge equipment and software supports our team in providing our patients and referring doctors world-class imaging services. SRNM also has multiple reference and collaboration site agreements with various industry technology leaders and medical institutions including GE Healthcare (MRI), Siemens Healthineers (CT), Bayer Healthcare (dose management) and the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre in the Netherlands (Prostate MRI). We have a long-standing affiliation with several universities and participate with numerous institutions in various clinical research and clinical trial activities.

We have the latest technology

  • 2 3T wide bore MRI’s (GE MR750w)
  • 2 ULTRA LOW dose CT systems (384-slice Siemens Force (Dual-Source) and 128-slice Siemens AS+)
  • 1 PET-CT system (64-slice integrated CT and advanced visualisation software)
  • 2 SPECT-CT (Nuclear Medicine) systems
  • 1 Digital Mammography Machine with tomosynthesis, integrated breast density assessment and contrast enhanced mammography (first install in NSW of the Siemens MAMMOMAT Revelation)
  • 2 Low Dose Digital Radiography systems
  • 1 EOS Low Dose Long Length Imaging system

We offer comprehensive diagnostic and interventional imaging services

  • Digital Radiography - including Long Length Imaging and dual energy capability
  • Ultrasound - General, Musculoskeletal, Breast, Vascular and Echocardiography
  • 2D/3D Digital Mammography and Breast Intervention - with automated breast density assessment with routine mammography
  • Ultra-Low Dose CT - including CT Coronary Angiography, CT Colonography and Dual Energy CT Angiography
  • High-field MRI (3T) - including Neuro, Musculoskeletal, Body/Liver, Breast and Prostate*
  • BMD/DEXA - bone mineral density
  • Interventional Procedures (including Peripheral, Body and Neuro Intervention)

*Our MRI machines attract a Medicare-rebate ensuring affordability for examinations/procedures that qualify for Medicare-eligibility. (Noting that some MRI examinations/procedures do not attract a Medicare rebate).
